Referral, Partner and Ambassador terms

Version 2026-10-30. Plain words, so you know exactly what counts and what you get. If you apply to be a Partner, these are the terms you accept.

For everyone

Every member has one referral link. It works on every UMG site.
A referral counts when someone joins or applies through your link, or types your code in “Referred by”.
One person or organization counts once, for the first link they used. Referring yourself, your own business or your own account does not count.
Members earn UmmahPoints (500 when a friend you invite activates their account). Members do not earn cash.

A Partner is a member who applied in their dashboard, accepted these terms, and was approved by a person at UMG.

Ads (Muslim Ad Network and our self-serve ads): you earn 10% of what an advertiser you referred pays us, for the first 12 months from their first payment.
UmmahCube for businesses: you earn 20% of what a business you referred actually pays us for UmmahCube, for the first 12 months from its first payment. A business chooses its own amount and may change it or cancel with an automatic refund of the unused part. Today a person works the share out by hand from what was collected, net of refunds, before each monthly payment; nothing is computed automatically yet.
Masjids, Muslim charities and non-profit Muslim schools: they are free, so there is no share. You earn our thanks and recognition.
An advertiser counts as yours only if our team records you before their order is signed. A deal that comes through an ad agency carries no Partner share, unless we agree otherwise in writing for that deal.
Everyone gets the same terms. Any exception is in writing from UMG.

Once a month, for payments that cleared at least 30 days before. A refunded or disputed payment earns nothing, and its share is taken off.
You see what you have earned, and what is waiting, before each payment.
We pay by bank transfer through Stripe in the US, UK, Europe and Canada, or through Wise or Payoneer elsewhere. We tell you any transfer fee before your first payment.
Before your first payment we ask for a tax form: a W-9 in the US, or a W-8BEN outside it.
Ad money is paid by Muslim Ad Network. UmmahCube money is paid by Ummah Media Group. Both are Ummah Media Group companies.

Ambassadors are UmmahArmy Soldiers who take referral missions on ummah.army. Each mission says what the work is and what it pays.
For a masjid, the mission pays a set amount once the masjid goes live, confirmed by a person at UMG. The amount never grows with the masjid’s size or giving.
There is a limit on paid missions per Ambassador each quarter.

If you can earn from a referral, say so when you share. For example: “I may receive a thank-you from UMG.”
Never promise results, reach, rankings or approval. A person at UMG decides every place and every ad.
A masjid’s congregation list stays the masjid’s. Never ask for it, use it or upload it.
Never pitch a masjid, charity or school a paid plan. Never claim a listing for an owner; the owner confirms it.
No bulk messages, bought or scraped lists, or messages to people who did not ask.
Nobody ever earns a share of donations. Masjid giving passes through to the masjid.
We record only that someone joined or applied through your link, with the date and the UMG site. You see counts, never who they are.

You can stop at any time. We pay what you already earned.
We can end a Partner or Ambassador role for breaking these rules. Shares earned by breaking them are not paid.
If we change these terms, we post the new version here 30 days before it applies. Referrals made before the change keep the old terms.
