About UmmahCity
What this is, what it includes, and who is behind it.
What UmmahCity is
UmmahCity is the front door to Ummah Media Group's set of online services for Muslims. One sign-in, through UmmahPass, carries you into the districts here — /eat, /mosques, /dua, /give, /email, /work, /learn and /bazaar — and out to the wider set of services described below.
It is a static site with a small PHP backend. It does not collect your personal information directly; sign-in and account data live with UmmahPass.
What it includes
Ummah Media Group builds UmmahCity, a set of online services for Muslims, including:
- UmmahPlaces — a directory of restaurants, shops, services and masjids.
- UmmahSocial — a social feed built for the Ummah.
- UmmahArmy — work and offers between Muslims.
- UmmahCauses — giving to Muslim charities.
- Ummah Directory — Find a Muslim professional near you.
Ummah Media Group also runs the Muslim Ad Network, which places the contextual ads you may see on some pages here.
