Nestled in the heart of Uptown, the Masjid al-Rahma invites anyone curious about Islam in the New Orleans community to learn about and explore the faith. Since its establishment in 1983, the masjid has served Tulane Muslims, university students and faculty members, and New Orleans Muslims. Although its doors are open daily, on Fridays, the masjid hosts communal Jammah prayers. During Ramadan, Muslims are welcome to join Iftar prayers and break their fast as a community.
