Building an American Muslim Identity and Community The goal is to foster an American Muslim identity, deeply rooted in the principles of Islam, while actively participating in and contributing to American society. This entails establishing Islamic institutions that can engage with and support other communities, both locally and globally. Additionally, it involves laying a strong Islamic foundation to be inherited by future generations of American Muslims.
