Ridgecrest Islamic Center The Ridgecrest Islamic Center was founded in 1989 in the close knit community of Ridgecrest, California. Our small and diverse community in Indian Wells Valley has been here for many years and has grown in size as our families grow and new members join. We established this community to provide a place of worship, a place of gathering and as a bridge to the wider community. Together we strive to live up to the following teaching of the Prophet Muhammad: “You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I tell you about something which, if you do it, will make you love one another? Greet each other with salaam (peace).” (Muslim)
