Queresha Masjid in Gillette, Wyoming is a welcoming mosque located at 1489 Country Club Rd, according to Waze. It is one of three mosques in Wyoming. The mosque is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Queresha Masjid was opened recently by the Khan family, and serves as a place for the family to come together and pray, says the Gillette News Record. The mosque was named after Tafial Khan’s mother, who was one of the first of the family to settle in the Gillette area. The goal is to eventually expand the mosque to accommodate Muslims from other areas, and for it to serve as a center for learning and worship. The mosque offers various services including: Religious services and educational programs Fostering unity within the Gillette community Daily prayers Friday prayers (Salatul-Jumu’ah) at 1:45 pm Ramadan program with daily Taraweeh prayers and Iftar meals Eid prayer and breakfast The mosque is dedicated primarily to the worship of Allah (SWT) and also provides Islamic support and guidance in other important community affairs. Some services may include marriage ceremonies, consultation and counseling, and funeral rites and burials.
