ETHICAL & MORAL BELIEFS THAT GUIDES Masjid Manhattan Intro Welcome to Masjid Manhattan, MM was established in 1970, and is a non-profit organization currently located at 30 Cliff Street (between Fulton and John St), just a few blocks from Wall Street and the World Trade Center. Wa’alhamdulilah, our Masjid has become of the most famous and most visited Masajid’s in New York City. Additionally it has become “The Castle of Da’wah’ for non-Muslims bringing many of them, through its Da’wah program into Islam. ETHICAL & MORAL BELIEFS THAT GUIDESMISSION STATEMENT In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Kind. Masjid Manhattan is committed to the Islamic way of life based on the Qur’an and the life examples of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). We serve as a center of religious development, social, educational, economical, and cultural enrichment. We believe in the Oneness of God and the oneness of humanity. We are committed to promoting excellence in community life and human dignity throughout our neighborhoods, cities, and country. We strive to provide charitable and humanitarian help to the entire community as well as to reach out and present the Islam through our educational Da’wah Program and cultural activities, which are consistent with the teachings and the principles of Islam. We contribute to strengthen the bonds between Muslims and Non-Muslims alike by establishing an united community through effective interfaith partnerships, tolerance, and respect to all the people.
