OUR MISSION In the Name of Allah, we seek His Blessing and Assistance. All Praise and Gratitude is due to Allah alone. Salutations & Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. We strive to meet our community’s social, spiritual, and educational needs by creating an environment that is nurturing and empowering. We seek to foster this environment in a way that all can maximize their potential, transform themselves, their communities, and the world, and become purposeful, spiritual Muslim adults. Our mission is to: · Develop, support, and promote a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on compassion and community service as delineated in the Holy Qur’an, and the tradition of Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him). · Help develop our youth to be thoughtful and reflective leaders of our schools & communities. · Build bridges with people of other religions through interfaith dialogue and engagement. · Give back to our state, nation, and world through community service initiatives. Our Vision Madina Institute aims to be a premier community center through prayer services, religious guidance for youth and adults, youth leadership training programs, community service opportunities, and interfaith outreach. The Institute promotes a spiritual and inclusive understanding of Islam that is based on peace, tolerance, acceptance, interfaith engagement, and gender equality. In an age when Muslim communities are divided by ethnic, sectarian, and ideological factionalism, Madina Institute hopes to revive the values of love, compassion, and unity that rest at the core of our beloved religion. Our programs will accomplish this by maintaining a commitment to the Qur’an and the Prophetic way while encouraging open dialogue, mature discussion, and free thinking.
