About Elmhurst Islamic Center Elmhurst Islamic Center has come a long way from praying in one of the brother’s basement to a second floor rental room to its current location. However, the expansion of its current structure is long overdue to accommodate the overflow- ing number of Musallees. Finally, after 16 years, we have been afforded the opportunity of purchasing the property adjacent to the current Masjid building. The Masjid is conveniently and prominently located in the heart of Queens around the corner from the largest mall of Queens; Queens Center Mall and Target. The masjid is also strategically located between the two busiest airports of New York; JFK and LGA. Due to its strategic location, devotees from many different countries of the world congregates. This beautiful brotherhood of this Masjid has created a unique symbol of unity. The relentless support and contribution of everyone has lead us to undertake this huge venture. Insh-Allah,   with   the   continuous   Duas   and support of everyone, we shall achieve our goal.
